When you have to take off your costume to use the port-a-john, if the zipper breaks off and the costume is stuck on, you’re doomed..

It actually might be easier to use a port-a-john while wearing a giant foam head. It keeps out some of the stink.

Hey! I see, some people are bored with this arc. Read below.

Big Nate. Double Trouble – Part 2, Chapter 5

Then, the bell ringed. We were about to have homeroom with Venus de Silo, a.k.a. Mrs. Godfrey. “Boooring”, I thought to myself. I’d doodle something in my notebook, but the pages have finished. And I had to listen Mrs. Godfrey. But remember, in my language, sentence “Please pay attenion for now”, means “I’m gonna make you sick to death”.

“Please pay attention, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, speaking of, blah, blah blah, blah…”

Soon, Godfrey started telling us more details about the winter dance. That’s when I concetrated.

“The dance, as you know, is next week, at 6:00 p.m., on the gym haul. If you want to bring some snacks, feel free. Oh, and Nate, may I ask you a question?”

“Uh, yes, Mrs. Godfrey”, I replied.

“Principal Nichols asked you and your friends to perform some songs on the winter dance”.

“For real?!”, Francis exclaimed.

“Yes”.

“So, I guess, we agree, right guys?”, Teddy asked.

“Of course, we do!”, I replied.

“Okay, I’ll tell the principal”, the teacher announced.

Can you believe it?! Our rock band, Enslave the Mollusk is gonna play on the winter dance! Now, that we have a better singer and we know more tracks (more details in my previous journal), we’re gonna rock!
