I was confused by Fred’s comment “I’ll be on my walk later”. I thought at first that he meant the walk he’s going on now and then I realised that he probably means he’ll be taken for a walk after he comes back from the walk he’s taking now.

I wonder who thingummy is. It won’t be Jock, Yorky or Fifi but one of Fred’s occasional friends whose name he doesn’t remember.

I have a similar problem. A great portion of my days are spent wondering what I was doing before I was interrupted.

Uh, ‘Fred’ aren’t you a little young to be getting ‘senior moments’ ???

Yeah, I’m like this all the time!

Having recently walked into the kitchen, only to forget why I went there twice in one day, I can certainly empathize too.
