The GOP is utterly opposed to doing anything with government money that doesn’t funnel most of the money to their owners. Bridges and roads: The construction companies are big winners. Telecommunications: the construction companies are big winners. Helping people get an education: Anathema, not just because nobody who matters gets rich but ALSO because they hate education.

I’m sure the GQP claims to have an infrastructure plan that is much better in every way, and much, much cheaper!

Now where have we heard that before…?

Shouldn’t there be red circles with diagonal bars in front of the first four images?

Qpublicans would prefer to cut off their noses to spite their faces rather then actually do ANYTHING that would help the Average American. ESPECIALLY if that plan is proposed by a Democrat. Just look at the fight that Kentucky senator Yertle McTurtle is putting up against the plan that would include ,money to replace the Brent Spence bridge between Kentucky and Ohio. The bridge has needed to be replaced for YEARS, and Yertle has said that it needs to be replaced, but he’s trying to stop the money that could allow it to BE replaced simply because President Biden has proposed it.

The infrastructure plan also will provide many jobs that will be an enormous help to the middle class and the economy. The can has been kicked down the road for far too long. The return on the money will be compounded. We will all prosper, not just the wealthy.

The Republicans will unveil their plan in two weeks. Or maybe three weeks.

Ted Cruz says that Republicans shouldn’t take bribes from corporations that don’t tow the crazy GQP line. This may be the only time he has stated the truth that he is bought and paid for.

After having worked in one the U.S.’ largest wastewater treatment systems, I can assure you that anything which caused such an upset to one of the plants would be immediately investigated and corrected. Citizens wouldn’t tolerate such stenches and overflows of noxious effluents emanating from the sewers.

The GOP is upset with the infrastructure plan as it doesn’t allow them to make all the roads toll roads.

The Republican plan has always been defund into incompetency. Then Privatize at a minimum of three times as much as it would have cost to properly fund anything. That way their buddies get to keep 2 thirds or more for pure profit.
