Danny and I have the same problem. We totally miss the obvious clue right in front of us. Danny, a hug and kiss would have been the appropriate response to someone waiting up just to see me. My wife says that the problem lies in the fact that we guys have a missing chromosome.
In case you are wondering – and I would too if I didn’t live in an oil-producing area – saltwater is for fracking, so it is oily. A person dumped it out on the highway in the dark of night, which is super illegal. Our car was covered in an oily film because of it.

Unless ‘saltwater’ is a euphemism for water used in fracking, why would the car be oily?
Even so, he should have waited a bit to bring you the bad news…
