I’ve come to the conclusion that too much is now broken in this country to fix. The fork has come out clean. We’re done. It’s now just a slow and bumpy road to hell and hope there’s a way back.
Minnesota officer meant to grab Taser before shooting Black man during traffic stop, police say
A Minnesota police chief said Monday he believes an officer wanted to use a Taser, but mistakenly drew a service weapon before fatally shooting a Black man at point-blank range during a traffic stop.
She was either inept, panicked, or out of control, any of which means she doesn’t belong out on patrol. It also means somebody that trained her didn’t train her. It’s what I refer to as a “cluster****”
If a white man had been shot, would there have been such a ruckus? The way the press presents the story, the police kill thousands of blacks every year. The last available stats state that 30 unarmed people were killed by police in 2019. Ten were black.

The excuse for this recent murder is that the cop “meant to draw her taser” and shot him “by accident”.
WHY was the gun on her harness where she expected a taser?
WHY did she even think she needed a taser in the first place?
WHY is a taser shaped and activated enough like a pistol that the difference isn’t obvious at first touch?
HOW LONG had it been since she actually practiced with either of those weapons in a “realistic” test?
HOW MUCH “live” practice is mandated by her cop shop? And how many of their cops get that much? Did she have that much?
