The problem is that we humans and even more, our leaders keep breaking out of the lockdowns, getting together to spread the infection etc. And, apparently, EVEN MORE when we can see that a few more weeks or months will get us to local herd immunity.
This pandemic has confirmed to me that on average, humans are neither rational nor smart.
