We are expected to accept the Trump administration’s sincerest apologies for traumatizing America and killing a half a million of us with their insane lack of spine in dealing with a megalomaniac

Another example of the Qpublican’s NEWEST EXCUSE for their LIES AND STUPIDITY… “I was just kidding! No rational person can think that I was being serious!”

FAUX Noise started it with FTucker Carlson, Sidney Powell, the Krakenpot Lawyer is trying it…who is next???

Sorry for the rerun of this but I can’t help liking it (he said modestly……..)

Clorox your Covid, start bleaching it now

Clorox your Covid, and your innards you will wow

If you’re having bad luck with infection

Just try a quick Lysol injection

If you get no relief from your bleach sprays

Try an enormous dose of UV rays

If Covid continues to harry ya

Try a drug that is meant for malaria

    Clorox your Covid

And you’ll drop like the Dow!

This constant repeating of a patently false claim about what Mr. Trump said regarding bleach is getting very tiresome. I heard the full quote with my own ears at the time he actually said it. He only suggested that since it had been shown that bleach killed the virus on surfaces such as kitchen counters, perhaps it would be possible for scientists to look into why that worked, and perhaps develop some sort of vaccine based on the biological mechanism involved. (I know I am paraphrasing, but that is clearly what he meant.) At no time did he ever suggest injecting oneself with bleach. And this was very early in the pandemic; he was not the only person in our country scrambling for answers.

Of course, the mainstream media, always looking for anything anti-Trump, even before the pandemic, jumped all over that and blew it way out of proportion, and then he (or more likely someone on his staff) came out with the lame excuse that he was just joking. But I heard the original comment.

I am not a big fan of Mr. Trump. I agreed with many of his policies; I strongly disagreed with his bullying, antagonistic way. But I wish we could get fair and accurate reporting on national affairs. This repeating of what is basically a harmful misquote, especially now, for cheap laughs, does our nation much more harm than any possible god. Grow Up!

Birx was in a very tough spot. She realized early on that the only way she could effectively do her job was to work directly with the governors. She knew she would be tossed out and replaced with someone like the demon sperm doctor if she refuted 45 to his face, but the information and coordination she disseminated to the states was very helpful.
