‘Hot-head’ gun shop owner identified as Capitol rioter by his Facebook friends — who say he ‘had grown bitter’

Matthew Loganbill, the owner of Tooth and Nail Armory in Gravois Mills, was taken into custody March 19 charged with obstruction of a congressional proceeding, unlawful entry and violent entry or disorderly conduct after he was identified by social media associates, reported Lake News Online.

The FBI received two confidential tips from witnesses who reported social media posts by the 55-year-old Loganbill, of Versailles, stating that he had participated in the deadly U.S. Capitol riot, including screen shots of the posts and a connected IP address.

Proud Boys’ de-facto leader during Capitol riot says he is struggling ‘to make ends meet’ after arrest

The FBI says that Ethan Nordean, also known as Rufio Panman, became the de-facto leader of the far-right group as members stormed the Capitol on January 6 after the group’s chairman Enrique Tarrio was arrested two days prior and subsequently barred from Washington, D.C.

Nordean is accused of leading a mob of about 100 Proud Boys members and supporters through the streets of D.C., along with fellow leading member Joe Biggs, before attacking the Capitol.

If you register as Republican, then you should get an instant voter ID… but if you register as anything else that triggers a well-deserved long vetting process to prove you are indeed a citizen worthy of getting to vote… /s

People that can’t vote in Georgia, or Mississippi, or Florida, or Missouri, or any other state cause the rest of us to be stuck with the likes of Trump, or Greene, or a dozen other such. An attack on their right to vote is an attack on us all.

I’ve pretty much figured out the Republican/Trumpublican Party’s long-range plan and platform. Republicans have become the party of “Get Yours While There’s Still Some Left.” All but the most stupid few of them can’t possibly believe the codswallop they constantly spout. They know they’re lying, and they don’t care. They know that the problems we face as a nation are real, but they don’t care about that. They understand that global warming/climate change is a threat to human survival. They know that income equality and racism are dividing our country more every day, but fixing those things doesn’t fit with their beliefs and anyway these problems would require real work and too much money to fix. They endlessly repeat their lies and talking points because they know that’s what the deluded Trump base wants to hear, and it will keep them voting Trumpublican. They hope to regain power and remain in office; supported by Magat voters and by delusional militias as needed.Once in power they will “govern” the way Trump did and use elected office to gain the personal wealth needed to acquire and live in the remaining comfortable and functional places as the planet sickens. Their “platform” is to ride this country into the ground. The rest of us are out of luck, except as we can serve as low-wage employees. Paying attention to politics at every level is life-and-death important. Voting is life-and-death important, as is fighting threats to voting rights. Exposing and not tolerating liars is important. Labor unions are important. Coalitions between disparate groups of non-Republicans are important. If we don’t stick together, we, and our children and grandchildren will be reduced to a miserable existence supporting Trumpublican lifestyles.

I like that he is calling it our elections. I’m sure he has a different group in mind for that pronoun than I would.

The 2020 election has been certified as secure by FBI Director Christopher Wray. Trump and his minions kept starting lawsuits to overturn the results but all of those lawsuits were rejected, often by judges appointed by Repubs, even Trump himself. The members of Congress that refused to go through with the FORMALITY of certifying the election results need to be held responsible for their encouragement on the insurrection on January 6th.

Publicizing this information looks like a job for The Lincoln Project.

There might be some validity to having to show a high school graduation certificate just to indicate the person might understand what is going on.
