Dylan knew what he meant when he sung about “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall”! Now you are – and I may cite Led Zeppelin here – a “Fool in the Rain”

My husband had a parking spot near by a bunch of crows. One day after work he went to get his car, but there was a fledgling crow on the hood. He very carefully took the baby and put it where it could be rescued. The next day, his car had been inundated by every crow in town and was a shi**y mess. We know crows are very intelligent. We weren’t surprised

1948 when I lived in Allentown PA during the spring clouds of black birds invaded our suburban neighborhoods. Nothing seemed to discourage them. Someone walked down the street shooting a shot gun up into the trees. A cloud of birds would swarm into the sky, turn around and come back.An elderly lady neighbor would go around banging a rolled up newspaper. Birds would lift off raining white bird poop on her patio, circle around to again settle in her trees.

No surprise here. Ground forces always lose to superior air power.

I really miss watching the crows in my former house. They are so smart, and can really do a strut!
