Okay, I was afraid the Shark was selfish in not wanting his son around, but when you’re worried about your car blowing up the next time you start the engine you’d rather not have the kid in the back seat.
I’m fairly new to this strip. Anyone of you long-timers care to sum up Shark’s back story and this story arc? I get he just got out of prison (how? why) and that his son was adopted by this family he’s connected to, but there’s lots of gaps for me with his character.
I used to in past work at Department of Corrections treatment as pt Receptionist, there was one teen male who wanted to join his dad who was serving time in prison, yet did not want his younger brother do the same as he did to get into lockup by a crime. The supervisor knew of his dad who also went through the system.
