Thanks to covid spreading republican deniers for deconstructing American reality, now we can we restructure it better than ever since they are out of office.
So, what I did or didn’t do for a year: I did not bake bread or learn a new language, nor did a clean my house!
I read well over a hundred books, probably 15 on WWII, historical fiction. Some of them were excellent and well researched, some tripe and ridiculous. I also reread the entire series of one of my favorite authors, all the way up to her newest release; that is 53 books, not including her novellas in anthologies. I tried a few new authors and reread a few favorite classics. I have NPR on in the background nonstop as I read.
I did NOT watch “The Crown” or any other binge TV. I have HBO, but not NETFLIX. When I watch TV, I watch PBS and AHC, but I often read as I watch TV anyway. Yes, I am ADHD. (Without the hyper.)
I obsessed over the election and SwampyDon, but mainly on NPR and via political cartoons. I stayed away from Twitter. I talked to my dogs, who have no political opinion. I went outside with my dogs. Yay!
I live alone and have been since 2010 so when this SARS.cov.2 came along only a few things changed like wearing a mask and going out less. Not much else.

If the variants take off in the “Doh!” states like some meds are predicting then it could be another year.

There was a post of Facebook that said “March 2021 ~ the same as March 2020 except we have toilet paper”.
