I love the new addition – I have a grey boy named Pippin too!

That kind behavior is sure to trigger jealousy in the “top cat”. The usual recommendation is to keep a new cat separated behind a door for two or three days. It gives them a chance to get acquainted through the gap under the door. They both get used to new smells and the presence of the other cat. A bad introduction can completely ruin the chance for later friendship.

Pippi and Pippin-too confusing. You can’t call out Pip either for a nickname.

My Pippi is named Baroness Bluebell. She makes Pippi look sweet.

I have a Russian blue type also named “Vronsky” and he is sweet too. Nine months old, a feral rescue.

Looks like Pippi’s in mean kitty mode again.
