The decision to not continue printing some of Seuss’s work was made by the Seuss Foundation; not some government entity.

It seems they checked with everyone except the parents who read them to the kids.I went back, out of curiosity, and looked through “On Beyond Zebra,” and for the life of me could not find anything the woke crowd might not like unless the story was about two boys talking and had no female characters. Lordy, how low we have sunk.

The Seuss Foundation was under pressure from BLM, other left wing organizations, teachers, so called academics, etc. to make the decision they did. Ted Geisel didn’t have a racist bone in his body. He was a life long liberal and published many anti-Republican cartoons during the WWII era. He was well known for his anti-racist feelings. Rather than canceling Geisel and his books, how about inserting a preface into the books in question explaining and putting into context his intent and images being the product of his times. That way the parent could either read it and explain the context to their kids prior to their reading the book or refer to it after their kids read and have questions on the content.
