Mitch McConnell in the middle of the road? Pshaw, that old turtle always finds a way to make it upright back into the right-hand lane. He reminds me somewhat of the prehistoric super-monster, Gamera. In the 1965 Japanese movie, “Gamera pulls in its limbs, expels flames, and takes flight, spinning around like a flying saucer.” That’s kind of what Mitch is doing now, in his battle against “Trumpzilla.”

I don’t know how the republicans got the GOP moniker, but it’s quite obvious that they are the Not So Grand Old Party since Rump took control.

I think he’s on a fence post but the road has it’s appeal. Move him further right to match reality; he’ll be easier to hit.

He has never been in the ‘middle of the road’.

The vengeful team Trump clown car is steering right toward Moscow Mitch.

I expect McConnell will come out of this still in power, and still perfectly electable in his state. And I use the pronoun carefully. But I do HOPE that the process weakens the GQP sufficient to prevent them from re-taking the Senate or the House.

Just leave Yertle the Turtle where he is. He’s a traitor to his own party.

This is an accurate depiction of the situation that McConnell finds himself in once again because of DT yet again going after him despite all that McConnell did for him, which is the way of spoiled brats, bullies, and dangerous extremists on either side including Nazi style ones.

This video is downright INSPIRING. It is by a Conservative who strongly supports the Constitution. He is a power figure in Arkansas and as such, as well as from being a war hero, he also has national standing. His statement takes nine minutes but is very worth hearing since he gets to the most essential points and he describes a way forward which can certainly happen elsewhere, including here.

Hey, depending on the issue I vary (liberal for social issues that increase fair opportunities like civil rights, strong education, retraining for jobs, equal work advancement; old style conservative pre-debt-approach for most fiscal issues except that I strong think that infrastructure repair and replacement programs as a modern New Deal approach could help the nation greatly now and should be done; moderate in most else). Oh, and i am an independent who votes according to things like past voting records of candidates. I do not line vote and consider it lazy.
