BBC Radio Four Extra occasionally runs a series called “A Fair Cop”, in which a former police constable describes the job in a stand-up comedy act. The funniest episode concerned the use of canines (in the US K-9s). The story concluded with all the police hiding in one Panda (police) car with the suspect banging on the windows pleading to be arrested. The moral was that once the dog is unleashed, it gets very excited and all bets are off.
