The Democrat party is gaining strength everyday because disillusioned Republicans are switching their party affiliation to Democrat, do you think that may be bad news for the senate in two years? I think so, but the dumb butts in the senate have not thought of that if they(and they will) acquit trump!
Trump began inciting the insurrection as soon as July, he knew that he had a good chance of losing reelection. He began the theme that the election was rigged and was stolen from him and his supporters even before the election actually was held, stepping up that rhetoric as it became more apparent that he was going to lose. Once he did lose, he filed 60 something court cases protesting the outcome, none of which he won, most of which were thrown out for lack of evidence.
As soon as the election was called for Biden, he started sending out tweets calling for his supporters to gather in D.C. on January 6, ready to fight- or “they would not have a country’. They actually believed that they were fighting for their country, and for the true President of United States against a fraud who had stolen the election. And, they greatly outnumbered the Capitol Police. He didn’t send any additional help, when it was obvious that the mob would overtake the Capitol and quite likely actually kill congress members, and refused to do so when it was requested.Mike Pence had to do that, from the room where he and his family were hiding from Trump’s mob. Mike Pence is actually a hero in all this mess. He was willing to follow his constitutional duty and count the electoral votes. And, that was before he was confronted with a mob chanting “Hang Mike Pence”, and setting up a gallows on the capitol lawn. There are a few other Republican heroes, but not enough. Most of them are going to vote, against overwhelming evidence to keep their jobs because they believe that their constituents support Trump’s mob. But even those people who were part of the mob realizing they were duped. Republicans have gone too far this time. And, the truth of the situation is going to become more and more apparent as time goes by. The Republicans who vote to acquit Trump because they believe their base wants them to may get a surprise the next time they run for reelection.
trump has played president like a petulant child.. continues to be.. and is now seeking revenge. It’s got his devoted senators in a real bad spot.. continue to support an obvious danger.. or risk trumps wrath.
Trump will never admit to any misdeeds or responsibility – if he manages to get punished for anything, he will declare that it is unjustly politically motivated. Sadly, his minions love hate so much that they will continue to harm their fellow countrymen – just for the sake of doing it.
Had Trump led the “parade” to the Capitol Building as he said he would, HIS Senate would still NOT convict him. He was just having a BAD HAIR DAY ! . . . . ./S
With the trial ending, the party of boneless cowards will continue supporting the treasonist pig! What hold does he have on them? He’s a lying cheating deceiving POS! We can expect to see him in the news everyday now, while he regroups and plots his next insurrection….he said it is only the beginning…and since they gave him free reign, he’ll do it agin without reservation! The GOP cowards RELEASED THE CRACKEN!
The FGIC has had enough press. And this is old news. Do something about Ted Can Cruz taking his off the wall head in the sand friends to Mexico to recover after all the strenuous lying that they had to do to acquit the FGIC.
