    Babies need those metals in their baby food so they can build a tolerance to them so they can handle the water they will drink.

    The arsenic contamination is something I only learned about recently. There might be some rice without arsenic, but I won’t take the chance. I now cook rice in an excess of water, so that I’ll have water (which should have the arsenic dissolved in it) to pour off when its done cooking.

    I’m actually JUST FINE with companies making a profit. I’m even okay with companies paying the decision makers serious $bux. But I’m NOT okay with price gouging, monopoly/oligopoly or the kind of things (adulteration) that happen when there’s insufficient oversight.

    Given the demand by China for baby formula from Australia (as their people don’t trust their home made formula) maybe we should apply a 500% tax to offset China’s excessive tariffs on many of Australia’s exports. What goes around comes around (karma). Daigou people exporting Australian made baby formula need to be stopped exporting.
