Good morning, Locos! Day 1 completed. The pass over the Siskiyous was clear and after 9 hours of driving arrived at our first stop in California. No more worries about snow….until I fly home late Saturday 6 night. Snow is predicted for Saturday 4 (Thursday) through Saturday 0 (Sunday). Driving a Uhaul truck towing an SL550 Mercedes is very different than driving the Charger. (I made it from home all the way to Los Angeles MUCH faster.)

    Good morning all!

I have only driven from Michigan to Boston three times, once in an old minivan and twice in a U-Haul. I would have to imagine driving a muscle car would be way quicker.

Snowing again, and it will again and again the rest of this week. Is it spring yet? :-(

    Hola Locos

We are entering a cold spell this week with temps we haven’t seen in years and some possible snow.

The remodel next-door has gone from efficient to ridiculous. First one of the sliding doors going out to the new deck has been constructed and deconstructed for five times now. I don’t know if it’s a leak but that’s what I suspect. A few days ago we covered the decking with plastic. Now they’re systematically ripping the fabric decking off the deck. A person I assume is a building inspector has been watching them work. Since this is the second story deck serving as a roof for the house. They are also adding a temporary railing. That’s something they didn’t do while they were installing it.
