    Hi Vagabonds

Chilly, somewhere between 3&4 degrees out there. We are expected to get up to 16, sun & clouds. Hay, Rita, I see on the weather somebody shoved you in the freezer and shut the door. Polar Express must be. BRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Even David spoke about freezing temps deep in the heart of Texas. I see by Gary’s weather map there is even freezing rain down yawnder. Ice storms can be bad for trees and the power lines under them.

I just saw some sunlight down in the valley, looks like a nice day coming.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, May the Lord walk with you always.

    Good Freezing morning, Vagabonds,

MINUS 17.8!!!!!!! Mark is right! I have to open the freezer door in the garage to warm up! And it’s set at zero. BRRRR! We don’t have anywhere to go, and it’ll finally warm up to the 20’s by Monday. Our pine trees are loving it. This is day 5 below zero. The trees need 2 weeks of it to kill all the bark beetles. We’re on the right track.

Still no side effects from the covid 19 vaccine. Just a sore upper arm, and I ‘needed’ a half hour nap yesterday afternoon. (I never take naps)

    Stay healthy. xoxo

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

I saw the oncologist this morning. He agrees that I am probably looking at a lumpectomy because the tumor is so small and hasn’t been there long. I probably will not need chemo (they will decide that after the surgery) but will need radiation. I have an appointment for an MRI on the 26th and will meet with the breast surgeon a week after that. They drew blood today with probably the best phlebotomist I have ever encountered. She accepted that I usually have it done from my hand, was quick and painless and I have one tiny stick point scab on the back of my hand. Even my “white coat syndrome” stayed under control for a change.

One of my hearing aids will no longer take a charge, so I’m going back to the hearing center in a few minutes. We’ll see what happens.

Other than that, everything is great around here. I’m healthy (except for the obvious) and so is Michael. We are having a bright sunny day. And I’m loving life right now. Can’t get any better than that.

We’re at 67 looking at a 69 forecast, so even that is great.

Everyone be safe and have a blessed day.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

We are still having snow showers and freezing temperatures. Our high yesterday and today is 19 and we are already cooling down for the day. I am happy that we have no place to go so we can stay home and stay warm. We cancelled dinner for tonight because of the icy road conditions, bummer.

And that seems to be the highlights of my day. Reading a little, watching a little TV and puttering around the house (bouncing off the walls).

    Everyone have a wonderful evening.
