Temps at 23 headed for 26. Going from a mix of sun and clouds to cloudy this afternoon.
Last night I was watching YouTube as usual when I saw six young ones playing and singing “Rocky Top”, one boy was playing a Do-Bro that was almost as big as he was. Also heard “Foggy Mountain Brake Down” being played by young folks. A haunting version of “Sound of Silents” by a young lady with beautiful voice.
I hope David and wife are shaking off the the side effects of the vaccine, but, our Jan is coming in on a wing and a prayer. May God’s will be done.
May God’s hand be upon all of us in these uncertain times.
We had to go back downtown for more stuff on our taxes that Jack forgot. So, we knew we were in for a good snowstorm until Sunday night. But, this was the worst driving weather we have ever experienced. Super windy and it was dark, with white out conditions that you couldn’t see the road or the white fog line! It took us more than a half hour to finish the 8 miles we had left. This is why we never go out in the snow. But it wasn’t snowing in town, but it sure was near home!
I wasn’t in the mood for cooking when we got home, so I just scrambled some eggs and bacon for dinner. Comfort food.
I did not hear back from my doc yesterday so I will have to wait until Monday to get my referrals. Other than that, nothing new on the health front.
I packed up and put away the portable table I was using for my painting, and now that room looks positively empty! We did figure out where we want to hang that painting, so now all I have to do is get it mounted and framed.
It’s bright and sunny outside again today. It got up to 71 yesterday on our patio. Today’s forecast is for 67.
Just another cold overcast day here. We are currently under a weather advisory and can expect snow this afternoon, the weather guy says we MIGHT get up to six inches of snow. It is currently 34 and dropping. Other than that is is pretty quiet here. I have some pinto beans soaking and will put those in my instant pot later this afternoon. Bake some cornbread and call it supper. Cold weather comfort food.

Morning, Village!
Feeling a lot better now. The reaction to the vaccine was only for a day.
