It is currently 8 below zero and a winter storm rolling on through late today and into tomorrow. The thing will be mostly to the south, NYC and Boston are in the zone. They are showing a smaller zone in up state NY where the snow will be deeper. Washington birthday or President’s Day weekend should be good for the ski arias.
By the time I head out for rounds the temps should be on the high side of the goose egg. The sun is rising and makes it look warmer then it really is.

It’s 22 right now, and it’s on its way up to 38. Another day where I’m glad to stay at home.
Nothing new to report. How boring. At least I have a doctor’s appointment (second opinion Neurologist up in Great Falls) on Wednesday. It normally takes an hour and a half, but if it snows…………who knows. This will be the longest ‘trip’ we will be taking in over a year!
I just got back from my bi-weekly recycle run. I take all the bottles, cans and paper/cardboard over to the UNLV campus where they have a huge recycling center. I usually take it on the day the housekeepers come to get it out of their way. Of course, on the way I had to stop at the local bakery and pick up some pastries & kaiser rolls. You can gain a couple of pounds just standing downwind of that place. (It’s called Great Buns.)
Now that I’m home, I don’t see a whole lot to do the rest of the day. I haven’t chosen another TV show to binge watch yet so maybe I’ll give that some thought. We have a lot of shows on DVD, and we get more through our streaming service. I might even get Michael to help pick one out….
We’re hovering in the high 50’s on a cloudy day. I didn’t even wear a sweater while I was out.
Another cold day here, not as cold as Màrk, but more than cold enough for me. We started out about 25 and have “warmed” up to 32. Six weeks to warmer days. The sky has been dark gray all day and it is a damp cold. Brrrr.
It is a good day to be at home, but being home is becoming very tedious. So that makes another day of routine housework and not much more. The weather guy is forecasting sun by Thursday, I hope he is right.
