Looks like Tarzan misinterpreted the little conspiracy. Looks like Mr. Austin engaged the killer for the hunt, and in the sentence “he meets an accident”, by “he”, they meant Tarzan.

Plot twist, eh? I recall a jungle film titled “The Macomber Affair” where the cheating wife and her lover plotted against her husband while on safari. Seems like Agatha Christie wrote this part of the tale…….
