This is from June 7, a day of strips that I won’t forget because that was the day the National Cartoonist Society asked/challenged the cartoonists to put in symbols as a way to thank essential workers(mask for health care workers, microscopes for researchers, apple for teachers, fork for food service workers, steering wheel for delivery, grocery cart for retail/pharmacy). These meant a lot to me since I am in 2 of those fields (I work in an ER and I teach). Thanks for taking part in that and for re-running this one! ( I have 2 of the June 7 strips from GoComics that the cartoonists signed, framed, and hanging in my living room.)

Grab one anyway. In the last month, I’ve had two friends die from COVID and three others be hospitalized.
