So many, too many people forget about the worse, the sickness, etc. part of the vows. My wife and I will have been married for 41 years in May. So far, we have endured several miscarriages, the death of a child, and having a child diagnosed with significant disabilities as well as several near death situations. They say the odds are against us and to some that is true. Those things were difficult and heart rending, but greater is He who is in us, that he that is in the world. We could not have survived what we have without Him.
