SNOW FORTS!!!! Every big snow day all the kids in the neighborhood would get together and we would build a snow fort. Especially in the blizzard of 67-68 Chicago ( time? ). We built a colossal fort that was so big our parents took it down. They were afraid of it collapsing on some of the smaller kids. Hindsight, we were lucky to have thoughtful parents.

I loved building snow forts when I was a kid. So warm inside. The light inside was a little bluish.
