Fine if you have reliable internet and one non-working parent to fill in the gaps. We both work and our internet has been terrible since the pandemic started. It’s been a juggle.
The problems with eLearning has more to do with what zipcode you are learning from.
Everyone wants their kids back in school. Especially, poor people that more likely than not, have essential jobs that can’t afford child care. Child care that may not be available due to being closed, because of Covid19. Sadly, whenever schools open, they often find them having to close again when cases start spiking and teachers become sick.
Vaccines are here, but it will take time to vaccinate to a level that we can achieve anything close to herd immunity. Which will be tough with stupid antivaccers. It’s bad enough, some people will not be able to be vaccinated due to allergies. In order to protect them, the rest of us need to be vaccinated. The other problem will be with making sure people get both shots to make it effective, then their annual booster, as chances are this will be an annual shot.
Here’s hoping for a better 2021, but it’s definitely going to have a rough start.

Then again, if we handle it right, this could catapult us into a new modern age.

What’s the current generation of CBE courseware like? Or are computers just used to create virtual classrooms?
