    Happy Valentines Day Vagabonds

The thermometer reports 15 degrees above this morning, beach weather. (^.^) Cloudy, flurries or snow showers today.

Well, I suppose I should give you the answers now:

    1. Any Treker should know this one, it’s the main crew lounge aboard the USS Enterprise in Star Trek/tng.

    2. I liked the thought of the “Golden Girls” in this town. The Blue Whale is found in the coastal town of Collins Port, Maine home of the Collins family who live in their house Collinwood. A town where every supernatural thing or creature comes to life in “Dark Shadows”

    3. The Hotel Carlton found in San Francisco is the comfortable home of Paladin, hero gun slinger of “Have Gun – Will Travel”

    4. Skeldale House home of the Farnon, Herriot veterinary practice in “All Creatures Great and Small”

    5. South Fork is found in “Dallas”, Texas, home of the Ewing family.

The answers are always longer then the questions.

It’s Sunday, in a little while I’ll get ready for church, then afterwards, pot roast and a quiet afternoon.

May you all have a holy and happy Sunday and I’ll catch y’all again tomorrow

    Good Valentines Day, Vagabonds,

Day # 8 of our big freeze. We were down to -11.2 this morning. Supposed to get up to a positive 8 this afternoon. WooHoo! Shall we go frolicking in the snow?

One of our favorite things for dinner is a breakfast sausage quiche. I found a recipe that’s almost identical. All I had to do is swap out the pie crust with a layer of frozen french fries. Everything else is the same. What an easy meal with a second meal for later in the week.

    Stay warm, xoxo

    Hola Vagabonds,

    It’s 85 degrees here, at 11:30 a.m.

Dkram’s quiz was fun. The comic strip that had the cafe named Mariposa Azul (Blue Butterfly) was….Brenda Starr (one of the last B. Starr stories). I still miss Brenda and her “Mystery Man.”

Florchi in subtropical South Florida, USA, where the weather looks a lot like the last two panels of Benitin & Eneas today!

Good morning, Vagabonds and a Happy Valentine’s Day to all.

It was a chilly 0 degrees when I opened my eyes this morning and we have already reach today’s high of 3 degrees. Now we are waiting to see how much, if any, snow will be falling today. Nothing much is happening, as we will be staying home and staying warm.

    Everyone have a wonderful day.

Good afternoon, Vagabonds and Happy Valentine’s Day.

Church this morning followed by breakfast with friends. There were 5 of us so we were seated at 2 different tables. Fortunately that limit of 4 per party goes away tomorrow.

We got a bit more rain yesterday. It came down hard for less than 5 minutes, just enough to make my car absolutely filthy. The wind is still blowing pretty hard, and it’s a cold one too. Our forecast has dropped down to 60 for the day. Still shirt sleeve weather, but long sleeves instead of short ones.

Secret Sisters went pretty well yesterday. There were a few of the women who weren’t at the meeting, so the pastor’s wife & I drew for them and I left the sheets in their mailbox slots in the church lobby. We have a 12 slot open mailbox hanging from the wall where everyone can leave cards, messages, etc. for any other church member. Most of the year it is known as the Secret Sister mailbox – its original purpose – but in November & December it’s the Christmas mailbox. Saves a LOT of postage.

Everyone be safe and have a blessed Valentine’s Day with your honey.
