Kind of makes you wonder. If Republicans maintained their majority – oh, heck, if the filibuster on “advise and consent” was still around – would they have allowed Joe to even have a cabinet?

When Democrats say they want diverse leadership, Republicans claim that they’re making decision based on race. They don’t seem to realize that if you have almost all white guys, you ARE making decisions based on race, even if you don’t realize it.
“I can’t be a juror who convicts the mob boss because then a bunch of thugs will come to my house and kill me and murder my family” seems like it might not be the statement of unity and healing Republican Senators think it is.
