I thought the True Spirit of Christmas was going to be Sanity Clause Trump putting PARDONS in the stockings of his cronies and people who may have donated to his 2024 campaign. Silly me . . . . . /S

Prisons need to be vaccinated early or they become a horror pool of the virus and a real threat of reinfection of the community! Yes, I realize that he is likely talking about the prison we all feel, but needed to throw in the comment.

I’m 76 and stuck in the house, I would be included in the second tier of vaccine recipients, but wish there was some way to let another person take your place in line. One of my sons has already caught it and will be unable to work (he’s an RN) for about a month, but is first in line to get the shot. He was healthy preCovid. The other has to work, or the electronics shut down in a bunch of businesses, but he is way down the list to get the shot. He already has lung issues, so it would probably kill him. I can stay home, I will stay home for the rest of my life, promise, if I can let him have my shots.

Steve, you should make a New Year comic of 2020 going out on a gurney, intubated, with 2021 coming in pulling a wagon full of vaccine needle boxes.
