You know those snakes will be first in line for vaccines. Though maybe by then they will be given vaccines on entering prison.

They will be immune only from the possible federal crimes they (probably) committed. They can still be prosecuted for civil and future crimes, such as tax fraud.

Can anyone name another time when preemptive pardons were given? I don’t mean blanket pardons when the president said “Anyone who committed X crime is pardoned,” I mean preemptive, in which NO crime is specified.

All of those criminals in prison just realized they took the wrong career path.
