If you want to live on the edge, walk out to the car and sit in it for a while…

I rarely give a serious comment (unless I’m responding to hate addicts) but I fear that his feelings are what is leading to the proliferation of viral infections. And, I’d be a hypocrite if I didn’t acknowledge the same longings!

Our society has a Catch-22 going on now. The caretaking professions are telling us that we are becoming fatter and the use of alcohol/drugs is increasing. It’s easier for most people, of course, than exercising and working to live healthier.

We are seeing it in our small world although most of the seniors in our sphere are still acting sanely. As we are spending less and stay home we have more discretionary income. Looking for diversions and distractions among limited opportunities can lead to problems.

People can bump uglies only for a limited time for fun. Then the psyche can lead them to the 80 proof anesthesia and/or burning one as an anesthetic. The other option is an upgrade of comfort foods with a blank stare at a screen.

If the C19 doesn’t get them then the lifestyle going in the wrong direction might do it. Sociologists will have a lot to work with in the near future,

We sit out on our front porch certain times of the year. Right now it is freezing outside, so no thank you.
