It would be a refreshing change to have competent altruistic leaders in DC instead of party-serving/self-serving/corporate-serving [mostly] (multi-)millionaires whose only “skill” was: to be lucky enough, to be in the right place, at the right time.

I know it’s hard – just finished going through photos of my grandson out in Seattle. He’s 2 now, and we only got to see him when he was 3 months. Our hope to go there in the spring of this year was shot down, but we are planning to move out there next summer.
