Time for some counter surfing Fred…

You may be more human than you think Fred! Beware the longing stare, it may just snare you unaware!

Isn’t that always the way? I guess it’s the forbidden fruit thing. Even if not having that piece of cake was something that wouldn’t have bothered you that much, being told ‘no’ now has you drooling. Same way I feel when on a diet. Foods I never eat now have tremendous appeal.

Go for it Fred. Saying you can’t have any then dear leaves it at the end of the table. You would get in big trouble, but would serve her right.

As I’ve said before, “It tastes better when it’s pinched”

We see that devious look in your eye Fred.

Fred you look so sweet giving paw to try to get some cake ! (1st Panel) …. Thus Mrs Dear should reward you for giving paw :-)

Why does she torment you Fred? So mean.

I can’t help wonder why she leaves food by the end of the table. I used to have an English Setter who was a notorious counter surfer. On our first weekend together I left a jumbo jar of peanut butter a little too close to the edge of the counter while I was away. She used her muzzle to knock the jar off the counter, chewed the (plastic) jar open, ate all the peanut butter and puked/pooped the stuff all over the counter. After that I learned to be extremely careful with ANY foodstuff th at Piper might like. Why hasn’t Dear learned her lesson?
