We are at the 22 degree mark this morning headed for 32. Warming up tomorrow into the low 40s. Something to give thanks for. (^.^)
After going for carrots yesterday I think we have everything needed for the Thanksgiving feast, so today’s run around should not involve any side trips. (^.^)
May there be joy in your day and in your heart and may the Lord walk with you.
Those other Village People had some pretty racy lyrics, david, but I appreciate your enthusiasm that we’re just a month away from Christmas.
I never dream of a “White Christmas,” as I live in a land that resembles Bethlehem…“The breeze was soft and what is more, The night the Christ Child came, Hibiscus bloomed near the stable door, As Mary murmured His name. Bougainvillea of violet hue, Arched in a graceful bower…Poinsettia, wet with midnight dew, Enhanced that sacred hour.” (excerpted from a 9-stanza poem, author unknown).
It’s 78 degrees here in the subtropics, and I’m heading out for a walk and may see some hibiscus flowers and/or bougainvillea blossoms along the way.
Yesterday I made the raw cranberry relish and today I made the spiced cider. Everything else will have to wait until tomorrow so it’s fresh. I found a fresh fruitcake at WalMart yesterday and this morning Michael warmed some of it up for breakfast (like a coffee cake). He says it’s good. I’ll take his word for it. It’s amazing to me how much of what we make special around the holidays is for Michael only. I guess I’m just too picky.
Laundry today and that’s about it. Perhaps some Warcraft this afternoon. (Michael is enjoying the new expansion.)
We’re expecting a high of 64 today. Not too bad. Tomorrow will drop a few degrees to 59. It’s 54 at the moment (10:30).
Today is laundry day and I have it half done, one more load for the dryer. I made my lime jello salad this morning and my stuffing. All that is left is to stuff and roast the turkey, make the candied yams and roast the brussel sprouts and broccoli. I am ready! My husband kept bragging about what great pies he makes, then bought an apple pie rather than make one. LOL.
Current temperature is 46 and it is not expected to get much warmer. Tomorrow we should have sun and a high of 50.

Good Cloudy morning, Vagabonds,
It’s 27 right now, on the way up to 37. Oh goody. It’s supposed to snow right about now. But the blue skies breaking through make me doubt that.
I gave Jack a haircut yesterday. Sure grows fast.
Today I plan to make all the ingredients for the chicken stuffing, so all I have to do tomorrow is stir it and bake it.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving Eve.
xoxo
