    Hay Vagabonds

We are starting out in the mid 20s and staying there. By Thursday the temps should be back in the 40s. (yeah)

I think we now have everything for cooking on Thanksgiving. Yesterday the last thing I got was a bottle of Apple Jack. (hic)

May you have a lovely day and may He walk beside you all the way.

    Hola, Vagabonds…

According to the a/c wall thermometer, it’s 75 degrees in my west yard right now. I’m more or less ready for a quiet Thanksgiving. IMHO, keeping everyone safe to enjoy Thanksgivings Future is more important than Thanksgiving Present in 2020…so I’m playing it safe and no travel or big get-together plans. Depending on how things go over the next few months, I may have a turkey dinner get-together on St. Patrick’s Day (or Memorial Day). I posted a Thanksgiving-related question over at Foxtrot Espanol, if anyone wants to take a look.

    Good Cloudy morning, Vagabonds,

It’s supposed to be warmer today…38. Wow!

Good news for Mickey! They were able to remove the entire tumor, and she is responding to all the motor skills they throw out at her!!! Thank God!!! And thank you all for lifting her in prayer.

    xoxo

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

Today the weather has shown it’s range, cold this morning, sunny and warm this afternoon, and now the clouds are rolling in and I am listening to the rumbling of thunder. Currently it is 57 and falling. Not much is happening, just clearing up the junk drawer. I am sometimes amazed at the amount of useless junk that gets shoved in there. ;)

    Everyone have a wonderful day.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

A good prayer meeting, a welcome “adjustment” from the Chiropractor and a final grocery shopping trip before Thanksgiving make up my day so far. One of the local markets has Coke products on sale for 4 12 packs for $10 which is phenomenal. I bought 8 Coke Zero and saved more than I spent. Than should last Michael until the next sale.

I am going to make my mother’s famous raw cranberry relish this afternoon. This will give it a couple of days for the flavors to blend nicely. I’ll only make a half recipe this time. Last year I froze half and it lasted us well into May. It’s one of Michael’s favorites. If anyone wants it, I will publish the recipe.

Mom always crushed the cranberries in a meat grinder. She said she tried it in a food processor once when they first came out, but the berries were only sliced up and didn’t produce the juice that crushing does. So, I have a meat grinder attachment for my mixer and it does a great job of creating the needed juice. (And I don’t have to crank it.)

Everyone be safe and have a blessed day (what’s left of it).
