Harry Truman used to do the same. He’d write a nasty letter, put it in a drawer, and never send it. The human mind can evoke the same emotions even in a situation that isn’t real. I write mysteries for revenge on my enemies.

This is why I avoid all social media. Who needs bullying over the Internet?

Jeff should not give anyone a piece of his mind. He does not have that much to spare.

    Golden Oldie:

The young executive is getting settled in his office on his first day on the job, and very anxious to make the right kind of impression. So when he sees someone approaching his office door, he grabs the phone and pretends he’s talking to the president of the company, trying to sound very important. Finally he concludes the act and hangs up. Then he turns to his visitor, who has been waiting in the doorway.

“Good morning,” he says to the stranger. “And what can I do for you?”

“Nothin’ much,” the man says. “I’m just here to connect the phone.”
