Believe it or not, that’s actually an old joke the Belgians make about the “miserly” Dutch: they bury people in that position so they don’t have to buy a bike rack.
FWIW all the crap that makes 2020 memorable was done by humans and the election is next week then there won’t be a reason to make 2020 uncomfortable anymore after that. This pandemic without the publicity is about the same as the last two (1957 & 1968) and no one even knew they happened.
