I have it figured out. It’s neither pleasant nor perfect, but “Don’t put kids in classrooms together” is the best plan I can come up with.

The Trump policy is to just open the schools and put the kids there like normal.

Whatever infections happen are just more steps toward herd mentality.

    .

Anyone who dies (only 220,000) can be satisfied that they gave their lives for Trump on the covid battlefield. The same for those who are permanently disabled as a result of the virus.

    .

It should be noted that infecting as many Americans as possible is NOT something new. It has been the Trump policy all along.

Sure, get rid of the main cause (Trump) and get someone in there who can appoint people that know what they’re doing. We’re already almost a year behind, and it’s going to take time, but we’ll finally get there without resorting to “herd mentality”.

Once again, then burden of child care falls on mostly women (yes, I know there are some guys out there, too. But not to the extent of women as caregivers).

trump failed.. and has now given up. Let the COVID-19 do whatever it will and damn the consequences. Those that die.. collateral damage.. those that get sick.. a boon for the pharmaceuticals, and those that own stock in them.

I have informed my family that every time my grand kids come to visit they have to ‘learn something’ before they go back home. Someone has to provide at least some education for them, so it’s time for all the adults in their lives pitch in, because their school system sure heck isn’t gong to do it.
