Use of one word not whole sentences, yes she is upset.

Sentence fragments good.

She’s seeing even less of him than when he was employed.

Oh no!

Gasp! The next stage will be the dreaded dangling participles.

Maybe if she went for a drive she could relax.

Frank is getting paid for teaching the classes. Why would his wife be upset about him earning money and doing something useful?

Is this a serious problem?

Most people speak in senence fragments.
