I heard that very same story forty years ago when I was 38, and Social Security, nevertheless, is still around. I don’t know what I’d do without it – I and a lot of other people who put our money into it for fifty years. Cheer up, son.
JK, What a relief! I thought everyone on this post was my grandson’s age (and just as stupid). I depend on my SS also, but worry about my kids and grandkids.
