Moscow Mitch, Leningrad Lindsey, and a long line of other Trumpublican Senators are on the record as recently as 2018 stating firmly that if a SCOTUS seat opened up in the last year of Trump’s first term, after the primary season started, that they would wait until after the election and then let the winner of that election pick the replacement.
The fact that they have their track shoes on, sprinting to rush in a replacement now! is the best evidence that they are convinced they are going to loose this upcoming election – despite all the massive cheating, voter suppression, and Russian interference that can be brought to bear – and loose it bigly!
It’s high time the Supreme Court be expanded to 15 members, in 2021. Giving Biden/Harris a chance to pick six young progressive new members.
It’s high time that DC and Puerto Rico become states, too.
It’s astounding to watch the orange ape and his handler falling all over themselves to get another justice seated before the previous one is even buried. There are many, many more adjectives I could use but none of them are pretty.
