There were hours of footage and hundreds of pictures of the moon landing. That didn’t stop the conspiratists.

^For one thing they went to the moon right AFTER sputnik was launched. Apollo 11 was the only one where they landed ON the moon. Every other mission was either around the moon (manned) or landed on the moon unmanned. In a way I understand their skepticism so it does make one wonder what really went on.

Hey W(ar),Crime! What were you eating or smoking besides your Cheerios this morning? The Russians launched Sputnik on October 4, 1957. The first U.S. manned moon landing was in July 1969, almost 12 years after Sputnik!

And, there have been 6 manned moon landings, each with 2 astronauts. They were Apollos 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 between 1969 and 1972 when the program was cancelled due to high costs. Apollo 13 did not land on the moon due to the well publicised emergency on board, but all 3 astronouts returned to earth safely.
