Instead of turning anyone into a hero or a villain, let’s hold people responsible for their own leadership.

During President Obama’s presidency, we have ended combat occupations in Iraq, we have guaranteed equal pay for equal work, we have ended torture of detainees, we have reformed our cruelly imbalanced health-care system, we have begun recovering from the worst recession in 80 years, we experienced a terrible oil spill but the company that caused it will pay for it, and the government agency at fault has been reformed, we found Osama bin Laden, and we have set a date for ending operations in Afghanistan.

There is more, but that’s a start.

During Bush-Dick’s presidency, we invaded Iraq on a foundation of lies, causing the deaths of 100,000 civilians, including 10,000 children, and the wounding of 150,000 civilians, including 30,000 children. We caused the death of 6000 Americans. We turned a federal surplus into a federal debt. We ignored the warnings of al-Qaeda’s attack. We invaded Afghanistan and, once occupying it, neglected the operation, letting bin Laden live a decade in comfort. We taxed the middle-class harder while giving the wealthy a tax break, causing a huge gap between wealthy & poor. And our economy landed in a huge recession.

These are the facts. There are no heroes or villains. There are simply better presidents and lesser ones. We need more personal responsibility AND more social responsibility. Everyone who voted for Bush-Dick owes America an apology.

Obama invited W. But W. wants to stay out of the spotlight.

It is good to take a few victory laps, but I think of Rudy Guiliani using 9-11 as a talking point for, what, 6 years?

    Complete misrepresentation.

Four alternatives were presented to Obama by the generals - Obama went against advisers and chose the most high risk, but most effective; Reports are that Obama went over the plan in detail, and raised a number of concerns - one being what happens if a helicopter goes down, so they added backups: Obama made the final critical decisions for a go and timing. As much as the right want to minimize and marginalize Obama’s participation, it was probably the most hands-on mission undertaken by a President in recent times. It’s no accident this high risk mission was executed almost flawlessly. Strange why so many are so reluctant to give credit where credit is due.

Better than a guy who stuffed a sock in his jock and landed on a carrier a stone’s throw from shore—– who never did invade the right country, or get the “bad guy”.

Compare the photo from the “situation room”, the expression on Obama’s face, versus the photo and facial expression of a totally lost “W” in front of a classroom of kids with more intellect and maturity than his.

I don’t like the “grandstanding”, but we had 8 years of a blithering brush-cutter who was not anywhere close to an intelligent “decider”.

Before you heaps mounds of praise on Obama, read this article and then ask questions. I cannot confirm or refute the assertions, but they are consistent with the “leadership” style of our “Present” President. Read it and then ask members of the media - both right and left - to investigate further. I actually hope it is NOT accurate because, as low as my opinion of BHO is, verification would frighten me more than I had thought possible.

^ Or it’s just possible that he hates the president, because he thinks he’s a moron. You do know that race doesn’t always have to come into the mix. Morons come from all walks of life.
