A fantasy that never truly existed but gained popularity in the 1950s and 1960s as most people became too busy to read and turned all their attention to a very limited supply of “news sources” 2 or 3 at best and sometimes the only TV station they could reach. In fact all news sources have always had biases and if you were to see the broader context of the times those biases may become more apparent to you. The fantasy was pushed further forward when “journalism” became a college program, limiting access to the predominate “news sources” to the “educated”. This was no conspiracy simply a road paved with good intentions. Do not mourn for what was never truly here, read more, seek out conflicting sources, and trust the judgement your parents tried to give you.

Subjective reviews of Stereo equipment : “The highs were milky, but the bass was fluffier than than the mids. All in all, the music was represented.”

Don’t worry about it, Zack. It’s some outdated concept we don’t do anymore!

Most commentary is “clearly” labeled but news show screen are so cluttered with “information” that most people don’t make the distinction.
