Stephen, thank you for your daily distraction from a too-contentious world.

I wait until they are weaving in and out of traffic, blowing through traffic lights, stop signs, etc.

Ever try crossing Brooklyn Bridge on foot? I wish the cyclists would. Or perhaps go ride on the Willy B which was restored and updated with them in mind.

All abuse is richly deserved. Ride on the sidewalks, stop for walkers and SHUT UP!

Yeah it’s so much fun pedaling in the bike lane and having cars swerve at you or throwing full water bottles at your head then speed off yell obscenities me (Thank Om I’m a helmet wearer.)

In my experience, a large plurality, and maybe even a majority, of bicyclists ignore traffic rules and then become indignant and abusive when called on it. Ironically, the only consistently polite group are the cop cyclists. (Hooray for cops!)

I walk in the walkway, when the “Walk” sign is list. Today, I almost got run over by a bicyclist going the wrong way on a one way street, going thru a red light. They are so dangerous to people walking. And now there are electric bikes to run down people who are walking.
