I had a college prof who did that…yeah, he was boring, even (especially) to himself.
I kind of think it signals a medical problem. Just saying!!

Sometimes the simplest explanation is correct. In emergency medicine, when you hear hoof beats, look for horses, not zebras (sorry Zebrastripes).
It could be the result of who he talks to.
I have heard that is often true.
I recognize the two creatures on the right as “human”, but what is that blob on the left?
