I like the camera tracking in on Mildred’s face as her discomfort grows.
Then in panel 4 (if there were a soundtrack) as a shadow descends on her face and her eyes suddenly snap wide… a sudden sforzando of dissonance!
Lacking a soundtrack, I guess the emanata radiating from her face will suffice.
