I think the B.L.M. movement is great – the destruction and defacement of property not so much.There are two different ideologies at work, here, as well as two different groups – the “adults” protest peacefully, while the children scream and yell and break things (while at the same time giving the Trumpians “miles” of free campaign video footage!)
Setting fires and spray painting graffiti on the walls is NOT the “good trouble” representative Lewis had in mind when he encouraged his people to protest.
That’s NOT protest – that’s “vandalism” pure and simple!
True “protest” should encourage thoughtful introspection – not vengeful retaliation.
