Funny thing about ratings: Its a fairly small group of people representing a larger audience of various demographics. Nobody really knows exactly how many people watch what. Back in the late 80’s / early ’90s my family was one of the Nelson households that make up the rating system.
It was losing advertisers or their threat to stop advertising for fear of consumer boycotts that brought Beck down. He will continue mongering on AM radio where enormous doses of hate and fear and conspiracy are brokered to an appreciative audience. Nothing he says is better than Hitler’s greatest hits.
And Chris lost any respect he may have had for having lost any bit of integrity in his vetting of facts and details. It’s fine to make fun of the guy, but have some care for intellectual honesty.
Oh wait, I forgot. The left just repeats the same lies and falsehoods over and over again until everyone believes it’s true without ever actually verifying the facts at the source. So sad. And that’s how the Clark Kent’s are created.
On the flip side… respect to war crime and Doc. I actually like your comments. But “Himmler’s spawn” is just detestable dtroutma. That’s really, really… really, really, really bad taste… and grossly decreases the real evil of Himmler.
The left is really good at demonizing people who don’t deserve it and lessening the real meaning and power of words (i.e., racist, xenophobe, etc.) and lessening the veracity of real evil. A shame on you dtroutma, a true shame on you. And vatonaught is right up there with you.

And, if someone who talked about Obama = Caliphate / New World Order conspiracies and insisted everyone buy gold before Armaggedon ruins the stock market doesn’t deserve to be demonized, then who ever would? Beck is a total nut-job, and he deserves all the bad press that is heaped on him.
