Brobst still hangs on to his fiction despite all the times he has been proven wrong. How sad. And Bluejayz ignores the fact that each of Obama’s yearly deficits has been more than triple that of Bush’s worst year.

Yes, what a crazy concept, that investing in infrastructure and education might somehow improve prosperity for the country.

Haven’t you heard? It doesn’t count when Republicans borrow and spend because… they’re Republicans, silly.

This comic illustrates a basic concept of life (that being that financial fixes don’t come from “get-rich-quick schemes”), and some people are calling Benson an idiot.

The only problem with the strip is that Republicans are not all on board with taking the right path. If the House unites and refuses to raise the debt limit (the path of the Donkey in this comic), then we will have the smaller government and responsible path that America NEEDS. Let’s all encourage our government, whatever you think of it, to STOP BORROWING money against the future in order to operate. It’s insanity, and it needs to stop.
